14k Gold & Yellow Spinel Ring by Eero Rislakki for N. Westerback, Finland

This elegant original Modernist ring features an oval lab-created yellow spinel framed by solid 14k gold. It was designed by award-winning industrial engineer Eero Rislakki (1924-2017) and beautifully crafted by N. Westerback Oy in 1962. 

The ring is fully stamped with the Finnish hallmarks 'ER' (designer), 'NW' (maker), '585' (14k gold), crown motif (Finland), boat motif (Helsinki) & 'I7' (year)'.

It is in excellent vintage condition (outstanding for age). The stone (14mm long) sits firmly in the setting and the band retains its original shape well. 

The ring is medium sized. It is an AU M 1/2 (EU 52 & US 6.5) with a 16.92mm inner diameter. If you're unsure about sizing, it is recommended that you measure a ring you currently wear to see if you're a similar size. The band can be resized.
