Hand-blown Glass Vase by Willem de Moor for Flygsfors
This beautiful rare vase features heavy aqua-blue glass with internal bubbles and appliqué medallions. It was likely designed by famous Dutch glass artist Willem G. de Moor for Flygsfors glassworks sometime between 1939 and 1942 during his tenure as artistic director.
Flygsfors glassworks (1888 - 1979) was renowned for its innovative and high-quality colourful art glass production. It flourished during the mid-20th century under the design influence of artists like Paul Kedelv and Helena Tynell.
This vase is in excellent vintage condition with no notches, cracks, repairs or discolouration. It still has its original Flygsfors label.
