Hand-blown Glass Vases by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta

Featuring heavy solid handblown crystal in a tear-drop form with an oval-shaped centre cavity and internal black swirls. These models were designed by the famous Vicke Lindstrand and featured in one of his early catalogues for Kosta. Both vases are in excellent condition with no notches, cracks, repairs or discolouration.

Engraved on the underside of the larger vase is ‘Kosta (maker) LH (Lindstrand + hand-formed) 1237 (production number/year)’ The smaller vase is signed ‘Kosta (maker) LH (Lindstrand + hand-formed) 1270 (production number/year)’ It also still carries its original label.
