Hand-blown Glass Vase by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta

Designed by the famous Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta glasswork’s 1958/59 catalogue, this stunning Black Contour vase features almost 3kg of solid clear crystal hand-blown into an elegant ovoid form with small biomorphic shaped cavity and internal black swirl. There is a small single stem opening. This creates a really beautiful effect when in use!

Engraved on the underside of this vase is ‘Kosta (maker) LH (Lindstrand + hand-formed) 1417 (production number/year)’. The vase is in excellent condition with no notches, cracks, repairs or discolouration.
