Handblown Glass Vase by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta

Designed by the famous Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta glasswork’s 1958/59 catalogue, this stunning Black Contour vase features over 5 kg of solid clear crystal handblown into an elegant ovoid form with small biomorphic shaped cavity and internal black swirl. There is a small single stem opening. This creates a really beautiful effect when in use!

The vase is in excellent condition (outstanding for its age) with no notches, cracks, repairs or discolouration. Engraved on the underside of this vase is ‘Kosta (maker) LH (Lindstrand + hand-formed) 1418 (production number/year)’
