Engraved on the underside of this vase is ‘Kosta (maker), LH (Lindstrand & Hand-formed) 1250 (production number/year).

This hand blown original mid-century vase was an early model designed by the famous Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta glassworks. It features beautiful clear crystal that incases a translucent web pattern that has a pinkish sheen. This effect is particularly lovely in the light and has a moonstone-like quality, which I have tried to capture in the photos.

This vase is in good condition with some visible signs of wear and use commensurate with age. No notches, cracks, repairs or discolouration.
