Engraved on the underside of this vase is ‘Kosta (maker) LH (Lindstrand + hand-formed) 1446 (production number/year)’

This original mid-century vase is part of Vicke Lindstrand’s hand-formed collection for Kosta glassworks in Sweden. The stunning asymmetric design features solid clear crystal with ombre emerald underlay that has been handblown into an elongated form with a biomorphic shaped cavity. There are some light signs of visible surface wear due to age - no chips, cracks or repairs.
