Handblown Glass Vase by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta, Sweden

This striking handblown mid-century vase was designed by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta glassworks in the 50’s. The tall slender form features an internal emerald green core surrounded by deep blue threads all cased in solid clear crystal. The blue threads create a beautiful lattice pattern effect, especially when viewed at different angles.

Engraved on the underside of this vase is ‘Kosta (maker) LH (Lindstrand + hand-formed) 1591 (model/year)’ The piece is in excellent condition with no notches, cracks, repairs or discolouration.
