Hand-blown Glass Candle Holder by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta

This stunning mid-century candle holder was designed by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta glassworks in the mid 1950s, making this an early example of his work! The design features hand-blown transparent smoky blue glass with a beautiful sphere detail that holds an air bubble at the centre. 

It is in excellent vintage condition (outstanding for age) with no notches, cracks, repairs or discolouration. Engraved on the underside of this special piece is ‘Kosta (maker) LH (Lindstrand + hand-formed) 1022 (model/year)’. 

The candle holder fits a standard 2cm/2.5cm taper candle.
