Sterling Silver & Spectrolite Ring by Valon Kulta & Hopea, Finland

This striking ring showcases a polished round cabochon of dark blue spectrolite, elegantly set in a sleek modernist silver bezel. The wide, minimalist sterling-silver band beautifully complements the gemstone's deep, inky tones, embodying the refined Nordic design aesthetic of the 1970s.

Spectrolite is a rare and exceptionally hard variety of labradorite found only in Finland. Celebrated for its luminous flashes of colour, it is believed to be a powerful protective stone that enhances intuition, deepens spiritual awareness, and inspires inner clarity and transformation.

The inner band is fully stamped with the Finnish hallmarks: Valon motif (maker), '925' (silver purity), Turku motif (city), 'Y7' (year) & 'Made in Finland'. 

It is in excellent vintage condition (outstanding for age). The perfect stone has a 13mm diameter and sits firmly in the setting.

The band is medium sized. It is an AU size O (EU 55 & US 7) with an internal diameter of 17.5mm. If you're unsure about sizing, it is recommended that you measure a ring you currently wear to see if you're a similar size.
