Hand-blown Glass Vase by Ture Berglund for Stockholm Glasbruk, Skansen
This heavy vase features solid hand blown transparent caramel glass with beautiful internal bubbles and applied decoration. It was designed by Ture Berglund, who founded Stockholm Glasbruk in 1936 with his wife Lily. He operated the glassworks between 1933 - 1980. Berglund's pieces are widley known for this technique but this model and colour make it a rare example of his work.
This vase is in excellent vintage condition with no notches, discolouration, cracks or repairs. It still caries its original label.
