18k Gold & Amethyst Ring by Koruteollisuus Tillander Oy, Finland

This stunning chunky ring features 18k solid gold that holds a beautiful large cabochon natural amethyst. The gorgeous organic design was hand-crafted by Jewellery Industry Tillander, which was registered in Helsinki from 1946 until 1973. 

This piece was possibly designed by Lotta Orkomie, who designed similar jewellery for Tillander during the early 70s. 

This ring is fully stamped with the Finnish hallmarks: Tillander motif (maker), heart motif (Finland), '750' (18k gold), Helsinki motif & S7 (year). 

It is in excellent vintage condition (outstanding for age). The stone sits firmly in the setting and the band retains its original shape. 

The band is medium sized. It is an AU O 1/2 (EU 56 & US 7.5) with a 17.73mm inner diameter. If you're unsure about sizing, it is recommended that you measure a ring you currently wear to see if you're a similar size. This ring can be resized.
