Etched on the underside of this vase is ‘Orrefors (maker) PU (designer + uncut smooth glass) 3807 (design/production number).

This vase features clear solid crystal that encases a deep navy blue underlay. The minimal yet interesting Modernist form is really beautiful. It was designed by the renowned Swedish glass artist Sven Palmqvist for Orrefors glassworks in the early ’60s. This piece is in excellent condition with no notches, cracks, repairs or discolouration.
