Porcelain Vase by Sven-Erik Skawonius for Karlskrona, Sweden

This original rare hand thrown porcelain vase has a beautiful creamy celadon green glaze with relief decoration. The 'Bari' vase was designed by famous artist Sven-Erik Skawonius (1908-1981) for Karlskrona, Sweden during the 1950s.

In excellent condition, the vase is stamped by the maker on the underside (see final image). It has no notches, cracks or repairs. The vase features on page 41 of "Skawonius" by Märta Holkers, 2008.
