18k Gold & Tourmaline Ring by Lars-Eric Ståhl Guldatelje, Stockholm
This beautiful mid-century ring features heavy solid 18k gold that holds an oval cabochon forrest-green tourmaline. It was designed by Lars-Eric Ståhl Gold Atelier and hand-crafted 1970. Lars-Eric Ståhl was a registered jeweller in Stockholm, Sweden from 1961 until 1997.
The inner band is fully stamped with the Swedish hallmarks 'LES' (designer/maker), Stockholm motif, three crowns motif (Sweden), '18k' (material) and 'U9' (year).
The ring is in excellent vintage condition (outstanding for age). The lovely natural stone (12mm X 9.5 mm) is smooth and whole, and sits firmly in the setting. The band retains its original shape well.
The band is medium sized. It is an AU M (EU 52 & US 6.25) with a 16.7mm internal diameter. If you're unsure about sizing, it is recommended that you measure a ring you currently wear to see if you're a similar size. This ring can be resized.
