Hand-blown Glass Vase by Sixten Wennerstrand/Bengt Orup for Johansfors

This Swedish mid-century vase features hand-blown translucent smokey violet glass with white stripes. It was either designed by Sixten Wennerstrand (1923 - 91) or Bengt Orup (1916 - 96), who both created similar pieces for Johansfors glassworks during the post-war period. 

It is in excellent vintage condition with no notches, cracks, repairs or discolouration. The original label has been removed.
