14k Gold & Smoky Quartz Earrings by Rauni Hevonoja, Helsinki

These elegant Modernist earrings feature faceted square smoky quartz stones framed in solid 14K gold. Their clean geometric form and architectural proportions reflect the restrained elegance of Finnish Modernism. They were designed and crafted by Finnish goldsmith Rauni Hevonoja, who was registered under the maker’s mark ‘HO’ in Helsinki from 1959 to 1975.

Each earring is stamped with the Finnish hallmarks 'HO' (designer/maker), the crown (Finland) & '585' (14k gold).

They are in excellent vintage condition (outstanding for age) with a perfect smoky quartz. The hooks retain their original shape well and the clasps function perfectly.

Each stone measures 6mm X 6mm. The earrings are 17mm long and 8mm wide.
