Cast Glass Serving Platter by Pertti Santalahti for Humppila, Finland

This beautiful large Brutalist serving platter features textured amber and clear cast glass. It has a lovely organic shape and a three-footed base. It was likely designed by Pertti Santalahti (1941 - 2015) for Humppila. 

This piece is in excellent condition with no notches, cracks, repairs or discolouration. 

Kaj Blomqvist designed very similar three-footed bronze platters and cast glass pieces for his villiruusu (wild rose) series produced by Kumela. As his pieces were typically signed, it seems more likely it was produced by Humppila.
