14k Gold & Moonstones Ring by Peltonen & Kni, Alppikulta Oy, Finland

This gorgeous unique Modernist ring features solid 14k gold that holds six beautiful transparent blue moonstone cabochon bullets. It was designed and handcrafted by Helsinki based jeweller Peltonen & Kni in 1960. 

Moonstones symbolise new beginnings and bring enhanced intuition and inner wisdom to the wearer.

This ring is fully stamped with the Finnish hallmarks: 'PLP' (maker), crown motif (Finland), '585' (14k gold), boat motif (Helsinki) & 'G7' (year). 

The ring is in excellent vintage condition. The original natural stones remain whole and sit firmly in their settings. They have some surface wear commensurate with age. The thick band retains its original shape well. There is an internal engraving.

This ring is a small size. It is an AU size L (EU 51 & US 5.75) with an internal diameter of 16.31mm. If you're unsure about sizing, it is recommended that you measure a ring you currently wear to see if you're a similar size.
