14k Gold & Ethical Sapphire Ring by Peltonen & Kni, Alppikulta Oy, Finland

This stunning original Modernist ring features solid 14k gold with a faceted lab-grown orange sapphire. The eye catching ring was designed and beautifully hand-crafted by Helsinki based jeweller Peltonen & Kni, Alppikulta Oy in 1962. 

This ring is fully stamped the Finnish hallmarks: 'PLP' (maker), crown motif (Finland), '585' (14k gold), boat motif (Helsinki), 'I7' (year). 

It is in excellent vintage condition (outstanding for age) with a perfect sapphire that sits firmly in the setting.

This ring is a size Q 1/2 (EU 58.5 & US 8.5) with a 18.54mm diameter. If you're unsure about sizing, it is recommended that you measure a ring you currently wear to see if you're a similar size. The band can be resized.
