14k Gold & Moss Agate Ring by Pekka Piekäinen for Auran Kultaseppä, Finland

This beautiful ring features solid 14k gold with two movable polished moss agate balls reminiscent of budding flowers. It was designed by the renowned Finnish jeweller and metalsmith Pekka Piekäinen during his time as chief designer at Auran Kultaseppä, a position he held from 1971 to 1989.

Pekka Piekäinen (1945–2004) was celebrated for his minimalist watch and jewellery designs, inspired by nature and everyday life. In 2002, the Finnish Goldsmith Association honoured him with the prestigious title of 'Goldsmith of the Year'. 

This ring is fully stamped with the Finnish hallmarks: Auran Kultaseppä motif (maker), crown motif (Finland), '585' (14k gold), Turku motif (city) 'L8' (year). 

It is in excellent vintage condition (outstanding for age). The natural stones remain whole and sit firmly in their settings. The band retains its original shape well.

The band is a large size. It is an AU size S (EU 60 & US 9.25) with a 19.2mm internal diameter. If you're unsure about sizing, it is recommended that you measure a ring you currently wear to see if you're a similar size. The band can be resized.
