Mould-blown Glass Lamp by Per Olof Ström for Alsterfors

This table lamp designed by P.O Ström features mould-blown textured clear glass. The large sculptural base would make this lamp a beautiful feature in any room! Ström's body of work was heavily influenced by the Pop Art movement and is known for its fun geometric forms and bright block colours. 

This piece still carries its original label and is engraved on the underside 'P. Ström (maker) 70 (year)'. It is in excellent vintage condition with no notches, cracks, repairs or discolouration. 

The lamp has been rewired and functions perfectly. As it has a European plug (type C), an adapter is required. It takes a standard E27 lightbulb. 

The lamp shade pictured is not included, although it can easily be fitted with a standard cotton or linen shade.
