14k Gold & Smoky Quartz Ring by Olavi Nupponen for Kaunis Koru, Helsinki

This beautiful Modernist ring features a large oval cabochon smoky quartz framed in 14K gold, set within an elongated openwork setting with small bead details at either end. Elegant yet bold, the generous proportions and beautifully considered setting give this statement ring a strong presence on the hand.

The ring is fully stamped with the Finnish hallmarks: 'ONU' (designer), the crown (Finland), '585' (14k gold), city motif (Helsinki), 'G7' (year) and 'KK' (maker). 

It is in excellent vintage condition (outstanding for age). The band retains its original shape well and the stone sits securely in the setting. 

The ring is medium sized. It is an AU O 1/2 (EU 56 & US 7.5) with a 17.73mm inner diameter. If you're unsure about sizing, it is recommended that you measure a ring you currently wear to see if you're a similar size. This ring can be resized.
