Hand-blown Glass Vase by Nils Landberg for Orrefors, Sweden. 

This block vase features solid Orrefors clear crystal that encases beautiful dark navy hues. The Dusk series original Modernist forms are elegant minimalism at their finest, which translates very well in contemporary spaces. Designed in the '50s and hand-blown in the '60s, this piece comes with a fabulous story - created during one of the most innovative times in Scandinavian design history.

Etched on the underside of this vase is ‘Orrefors (maker) NU (designer + glass type) 3736 (production year/number)’ It is in good vintage condition with no cracks, repairs or discolouration. There is a small notch on one of the corners at the base - please see close up photo.

This piece stands alone well or looks fantastic paired with other pieces from the same series!
