Handblown Glass Vase by Nils Landberg for Orrefors, Sweden. 

This sommerso vase features very solid Orrefors clear crystal that encases a beautiful dark smokey-olive hue. It was hand blown over 60 years ago and although it is possible to find similar designs, no two pieces are exactly the same – differing slighting in form and colour. This piece looks fantastic paired with other models from the same series!

Etched on the underside of this vase is ‘Orrefors (maker) N (designer) 3812/118 (production year/number)’ Good vintage condition with no cracks, repairs or discolouration. There is some minor visible surface wear commensurate with age and use, as well as a groove one edge possibly from the glassmaking process.
