Handblown Glass Vase by Nils Landberg for Orrefors, Sweden. 

This sommerso vase features very solid Orrefors clear crystal that encases a beautiful smokey olive hue. It was hand blown almost 70 years ago and although it is possible to find similar designs, no two pieces are exactly the same – differing slighting in form and colour. This piece stands alone nicely and also looks fantastic paired with other models from the same series. 

Etched on the underside of this vase is ‘Orrefors (maker) N (designer) 3595/128 (production year/number)’ This vase is in average vintage condition with wear commensurate with age and use. It has no notches, cracks or repairs, however, it does have some surface scratches (please see images) and an internal iridescent coating that can be seen in direct sunlight.
