The iconic Grapponia series was designed by Nanny Still (1926–2009) in 1968 for Finnish glassworks Riihimäen Lasi. Like this piece, the other objects in the series feature mould blown glass with a raised circular relief pattern and geometric form. The models come in a variety of colours, including Neodymium glass.

This vase still caries its original label. It is in excellent condition with no notches, discolouration, cracks or repairs.
