14k Gold & Smoky Quartz Ring by N. Westerback, Finland

This beautiful statement ring features a large faceted smoky quartz framed by solid 14k gold. It was handcrafted by the atelier N. Westerback in Helsinki, which was registered under the maker's mark 'NW' between 1897 and 1969. (Originally to Nestor Westerback and later to Eino Westerback in 1919). 

The inner band is stamped with the Finnish hallmarks: 'NW' (maker),'585' (14k gold), crown motif (Finland), 'H7' (year) &  boat motif (Helsinki). 

The ring is in excellent vintage condition (outstanding for age). The stone (16mm X 12mm) sits firmly in the setting and the thick 5mm band retains its original shape well. 

The band is a large size. It is an AU size S (EU 60 & US 9.25) with a 19.2mm internal diameter. If you're unsure about sizing, it is recommended that you measure a ring you currently wear to see if you're a similar size. 

The band can be resized.
