14k Gold & Moonstone Pendant by N. Westerback, Finland

This beautiful Modernist pendant features solid 14k gold that holds two cabochon rose moonstones. The unique design was handcrafted in 1960 by the atelier N. Westerback in Helsinki, which was registered between 1897 and 1969. (Originally to Nestor Westerback and later to Eino Westerback in 1919). 

Pink moonstones symbolise gentle emotional healing, love, and intuitive feminine energy.

The pendant's bail is fully stamped with the Finnish hallmarks: 'NW' (maker), '585' (14k gold), crown motif (Finland), 'G7' (year) & boat motif. 

It is in excellent vintage condition (outstanding for age). The stones remain whole and smooth, and sit firmly in their settings.

The pendant measures 33mm long (including loop) X 29mm wide. As the loop is smaller it would fit a chain with a thin clasp or it can be adjusted.
