14k Gold & Smoky Quartz Earrings by N. Westerback, Finland

Elegant and sculptural, these Modernist earrings are handcrafted in solid 14k gold and set with beautifully faceted oval smoky quartz gemstones. The bold, architectural gold design perfectly complements the warm, smoky tones of the quartz, creating a timeless statement with a distinctly Nordic aesthetic.

These earrings were made by the renowned Helsinki atelier N. Westerback, one of Finland's respected goldsmith workshops. The maker's mark was registered from 1897 to 1969, first under Nestor Westerback and later under Eino Westerback, who took over the business in 1919.

Each earring is fully stamped with the Finnish hallmarks: 'NW' (maker), '585' (14k gold), crown motif (Finland), boat motif & 'L7' (year). 

They are both in excellent vintage condition (outstanding for age). The stones remain whole and sit firmly in their settings. The clasps function perfectly.

Each earring measures 35mm long X 14mm wide.
