14k Gold & Smoky Quartz Earrings by N. Westerback, Finland

These elegant Modernist earrings feature solid 14k gold that beautifully frames a facetted oval smoky-quartz. The unique design was handcrafted by the atelier N. Westerback in Helsinki, which was registered between 1897 and 1969. (Originally to Nestor Westerback and later to Eino Westerback in 1919). 

Each earring is fully stamped with the Finnish hallmarks: 'NW' (maker), '585' (14k gold), crown motif (Finland), boat motif & 'L7' (year). 

They are both in excellent vintage condition (outstanding for age). The stones remain whole and sit firmly in their settings. The clasps function perfectly.

Each earring measures 35mm long X 14mm wide.
