This incredible Modernist ring features a bouquet of sixteen solid 14k gold flowers. It belongs to Liisa Vitali's Kevät (or Spring) series and was handcrafted by the Helsinki atelier N. Westerback in 1972. This is the largest model in the series.
Liisa Vitali (1918 -1987) was a famous Finnish designer and jeweller known for her iconic Modernist designs that were inspired by nature.
This ring is fully stamped 'NW' (maker), 585' (14k gold), crown motif (Finland), Helsinki motif (city) & 'T7' (year)'.
It is in excellent vintage condition (outstanding for age). The solid band, which measures 4.5m wide, retains its original shape. The flowers have a 28mm diameter and sit approximately 13mm high from the band.
This ring is a medium size. It is an AU size N (EU 53.8 & US 6.75) with a 17.1mm internal diameter. If you're unsure about sizing, it is recommended that you measure a ring you currently wear to see if you're a similar size. The band can be resized.
