Blown Glass Cocktail Shaker by Kaj Franck for Nuutajärvi Notsjö

This rare original mid-century cocktail shaker was designed by the famous Kaj Franck for Nuutajärvi Notsjö in 1953. Known as model 2544, the design features a hooped form of heavy blown sea-green glass and solid matte-finish lid. 

This special piece is a fantastic testament to the innovation that occurred in Finnish design during the mid-century period. It would be a wonderful addition to any mid-century collection or home bar. 

It is in excellent vintage condition (outstanding for age) with no notches, cracks, discolouration or repairs. It would have originally carried a label, which has been removed.
