Hand-blown Glass Vases by Josef Schott for Smålandshyttan
These handblown sommerso vases were designed by Josef Schott (1915 - 2009) for Smålandshyttan glassworks, which was operational between 1947 to 1976. The vases each feature clear crystal that incases a charcoal underlay. These models are commonly accidentally attributed to Strombergshyttan, who also chose to sometimes only label their work and not sign it.
The smallest vase is in excellent condition, while the other two are in good condition with some minor internal clouding commensurate with age and use. There are no notches, cracks or repairs and their original labels have been removed.
