14k Gold & Smoky Quartz Ring by Jens Poul Asby for Christian Frederik Heise, Denmark

Make a statement with this exquisite geometric Modernist ring that features solid 14k gold that beautifully frames a faceted rectangular smoky quartz. It was designed by the famous Danish designer Jens Poul Asby (active between 1960 until 1970) for Christian Frederik Heise, which was registered in Copenhagen from 1958 until 2000. 

The inner band is stamped with the Danish hallmarks: 'JA' (designer) '585' (14k gold) & 'CFH' (maker).

The ring is in excellent vintage condition. The solid band retains its original shape well and has previously been resized. The stone (14mm X 12mm) sits firmly in the setting.

The ring is a large size. It is an AU size R 1/2 (EU 59 & US 9) with a 18.95mm internal diameter. If you're unsure about sizing, it is recommended that you measure a ring you currently wear to see if you're a similar size. The band can be resized.
