Hand thrown Stoneware Vase by Inger Persson for Rörstrand

Inger, a skilled Swedish thrower and painter, became a designer at the very famous Rörstrand during the company's most successful period. She is known for her minimal modernist forms - like this vase from her Lunik series.

This vase is hand painted on both sides with striking black lines on white. Imprinted on the underside of this vase is the maker's stamp ‘R (maker), Lunik (series), Sweden (country of origin)’ The piece is in excellent vintage condition with no notches, cracks or repairs.
