Hand-blown glass vase by Gunnar Nylund for Strombergshyttan

This super cute sommerso vase belongs to the famous Shark tooth series designed by Gunnar Nylund for Strömbergshyttan in the late 1950s. It features an asymmetrical hand blown form of solid clear crystal that encases an ombre gold and bronze underlay. 

This model was recorded in Strömbergshyttan's catalogs as B773 ('B' signified ‘Blomvas’ or floral vase). It is in excellent vintage condition with no notches, cracks, repairs or discolouration
