Handblown Glass Vase by Gunnar Nylund for Strömbergshyttan

This sommerso vase features hand blown solid clear Stromberg crystal with a beautiful opaque powder blue underlay. It has an elegant minimal tear-drop form with ovoid cavity and a narrow opening ideal for highlighting single stems. This model, B894, was designed in the late 1950s by Gunnar Nylund and produced by Strömbergshyttan glass blowers during the mid-century period in Sweden.

This vase is in excellent vintage condition with no notches, visible scratches, cracks, repairs or discolouration. Etched on the underside of this vase is ‘Strömbergshyttan B894’
