This original mid-century vase was designed in the late 50s by Gunnar Nylund while he was Artistic Director at Strömbergshyttan glassworks in Sweden. The design consists of solid clear handblown crystal that encases a beautiful translucent ombre underlay of golden amber tones. The B436 model featured in Strömbergshyttan's early catalogues. 'B' signifies 'Blomvas' or floral vase.

This vase carries the original Strömbergshyttan label.
