Hand-blown asymmetrical vase by Göran Wärff for Kosta/Kosta Boda

This vase was designed by Swedish artist Goran Warff (1933 - 2022), who started at Kosta (later Kosta Boda) in the 60s. The minimalist design features solid free blown clear crystal with a narrow opening and suspended circular cavity ideal for beautifully highlighting single stems.

This well known design by Wärff was produced by Kosta in the 70s and possibly later for his Raindrop series in the 80s. It is unsigned.  

This piece is in good vintage condition with no notches, repairs, cracks or discolouration. There is some light visible surface wear commensurate with age and use.
