18k Gold & Smoky Quartz Ring by Ge-Kå Rolf Kaplan, Stockholm

This beautiful original Modernist ring features solid 18k gold that holds a large faceted oval smoky quartz. It was designed and handcrafted by Ge-Kå Rolf Kaplan in 1972. Ge-Kå Rolf Kaplan Ab was registered in Stockholm, Sweden from 1971 until 1981. 

The inner band is fully stamped with the Swedish hallmarks 'GK' (maker), Stockholm motif, three crowns motif (Sweden), '18k' (material) and 'X9' (year).

The ring is in excellent vintage condition (outstanding for age). The smoky quartz is 19mm long and sits firmly in the setting. The band retains its original shape well. 

The band is medium sized. It is an AU M 1/2 (EU 52 & US 6.5) with a 16.92mm inner diameter. If you're unsure about sizing, it is recommended that you measure a ring you currently wear to see if you're a similar size. This ring can be resized.
