Blown Glass Vase by František Zemek for Teplické Sklo, Czechoslovakia

This beautiful vase features free blown transparent green and blue glass. 

It was designed by the famous glass artist František Zemek (1913 - 1960) for his Harmony series in 1958 and produced in Mstišov. The design echoes the fascination that Czech artists had with the optical possibilities glass allowed, which lead to many experimental and interesting forms during this period. 

This piece is in excellent vintage condition with no notches, cracks, repairs or discolouration.
