Porcelain Vase by Ewald Dahlskog for Bo Fajans Gefle, Sweden

This hand-thrown porcelain vase with jade green glaze was designed by famous Swedish artist Ewald Dahlskog (1894-1950) for Bo Fajans sometime between 1929 and 1950. Dahlskog trained as a painter and graphic artist before working at Kosta glassworks for three years and then moving to Bo Fajans, which ceased production in 1967.

This piece is in excellent condition with has no notches, cracks or repairs. It is stamped on the underside 'BO' (maker) 'D.289' (model) and still carries its original label.
