14k Gold & Smoky Quartz Ring by Erkki Juhani Peusa, Finland

This beautiful mid-century ring features solid 14k gold that holds a stunning large facetted smoky quartz. The elegant design was designed and handcrafted by Finnish jeweller Erkki Juhani Peusa (registered 1957- 1987) in 1962. 

The ring is fully stamped with the Finnish hallmarks: 'JuP' (designer/maker), crown motif (Finland), '585' (14k gold), boat motif (Helsinki) &  'I7' (year)

It is in excellent condition (outstanding for age). The lovely smoky quartz (21mm X 15mm) remains whole and sits firmly in the setting. The band retains its original shape well. 

This ring is a medium/large size. It is an AU size P 1/2 (EU 57 & US 8) with a 18.14mm internal diameter. If you're unsure about sizing, it is recommended that you measure a ring you currently wear to see if you're a similar size. The band can be resized.
