This model B 435 was designed by Elis Bergh (1881 - 1954) for Kosta in the '30s. It features beautiful solid Prussian blue crystal with faceted sides and oval cavity, which creates a unique optical effect. The vase is in excellent condition (outstanding for its age) with no notches, discolouration, cracks or repairs.

Elis Bergh was a Swedish architect and designer that became well known for his role as chief designer at Kosta and later as Artistic Director, which was a position he held between 1928 and 1950. Bergh’s very concise and controlled geometric forms were very different to those later produced by his successor - the famous Vicke Lindstrand.
