14k Gold & Citrine Pendant by Einari Ailio, Finland

This elegant mid-century pendant features a large faceted oval green citrine, beautifully framed by an intricate openwork setting in solid 14K gold. The delicate lattice-like design allows light to pass through the setting, enhancing the stone’s natural luminosity. It was designed and handcrafted by Finnish jeweller Einari Ailio in Jyväskylä, 1966.

 This pendant is fully stamped with the Finnish hallmarks: 'EJA' (designer/maker), crown motif (Finland), '585' (14k gold), town motif (Jyväskylä) & 'N7' (year). 

It is in excellent vintage condition (outstanding for age). The citrine measures 24 X 12mm and sits firmly in the setting. 

The pendant measures 43mm X 26mm including the loop. The chain is not included but your favourite chain can be easily threaded through.
