14k Gold & Smoky Quartz Ring by Eero Rislakki for N. Westerback, Finland

This elegant Modernist ring features solid 14k gold with a beautiful oval cabochon smoky quartz. It was designed by award-winning industrial engineer and designer Eero Rislakki (1924-2017) for N. Westerback Oy, Helsinki in 1961.  

The inner band is stamped with the Finnish hallmarks: 'NW' (maker),'585' (14k gold), crown motif (Finland), 'H7'(year), boat motif & 'ER' (designer). 

The ring is in excellent vintage condition (outstanding for age). The stone (14mm) sits firmly in the setting and the band retains its original shape well. 

This ring is a medium/large size. It is an AU size Q (EU 57.5 & US 8.25) with an internal diameter of 18.3mm. If you're unsure about sizing, it is recommended that you measure a ring you currently wear to see if you're a similar size. The band can be resized.
