14k Gold & Citrine Ring by Eero Rislakki for N. Westerback, Finland

This beautifully hand-crafted elegant original Modernist ring features a large faceted cut citrine framed by solid 14k gold. This piece was designed by award-winning industrial engineer and designer Eero Rislakki (1924-2017) for N. Westerback Oy, Helsinki in 1960.  

The incredible design enhances the beauty of the citrine, which is reflected in the polished gold backing. Given how reflective the ring is, the photos really do not this piece justice!

It is fully stamped with the Finnish hallmarks 'NW' (maker),'585' (14k gold), crown motif (Finland), 'G7' (year)', boat motif (Helsinki) & 'ER' (designer). 

It is in excellent vintage condition (outstanding for age) with a perfect citrine. The stone sits firmly in the setting and the band retains its original shape. 

The flawless stone measures 16mm long. The band is medium sized and is an AU M 1/2 (EU 52 & US 6.5) with a 16.92mm inner diameter. If you're unsure about sizing, it is recommended that you measure a ring you currently wear to see if you're a similar size. This ring can be resized.
