14k Gold & Amethyst Pendant by Eero Rislakki for N. Westerback, Finland

This beautifully hand-crafted elegant original Modernist pendant features a large faceted cut amethyst framed by solid 14k gold. It was designed by award-winning industrial engineer Eero Rislakki (1924-2017) for N. Westerback Oy in 1961. 

The pendant is fully stamped with 'NW' (maker), '585' (14k gold), crown motif (Finland), 'H7' (year)', boat motif (Helsinki) & 'ER' (designer). 

It is in excellent vintage condition (outstanding for age) with perfect amethyst. The stone sits firmly in the setting.

The pendant measures 3cm long X 2cm wide. The chain is not included. The openings on either side of the pendant are 0.4cm long, which should fit most fine chains.
