Handblown Sommerso Glass Vase by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta

This handblown sommerso vase features super solid clear crystal with a beautiful two tone sapphire blue underlay. The series was designed by the famous Vicke Lindstrand (1904-1983) for Kosta glassworks in Sweden during the mid-century period. This example is of model LH 1826.

It is in good condition with some light visible surface wear commensurate with age and use. There are no notches, cracks, discolouration or repairs. This piece still carries its original 'Kosta' label and has an engraved signature on the underside.
